As mentioned Madi was discharged from the hospital Saturday morning. She's actually managed to go three whole days without any chemo or proton therapy!
All things considered Madi doing remarkably well. While she has a bit of fatigue, continues to stay mobile, has a decent appetite, and is managing nausea (mostly a lack of) very well.
Sitting on a park bench feeding birds and squirrels over the long weekend, Madi saw a familiar face... and belly. Madi's mom Colleen and the dog named Sasha are responsible for introducing the Jones family to Christopher's Haven. More their mission in a future post.
