This is the last week of the last planned round of chemo. Treatment 3 was better tolerated and while still really nasty, it was not as bad as the first bout with the red devil (nickname for the type of chemo). Madi comes home Saturday 2/22/14, and will rest and recuperate for a few weeks.
Next step is a couple of days in Boston at Mass General to have molds created for Proton Therapy (PT). We estimate that to be March 12-13 but the exact date hasn't been set yet. PT may start as early as late March.
We updated the treatment roadmap <link> and as milestones come and go, we'll keep that updated.

Madison volunteers at Rancho Saint Francis <link>... a great organization. That team put together some posters and sent the pictures to Madison.
Rancho Saint Francis is also hosting a fundraiser on 2/22/14 at both locations for the Madison Rose Fund, 10 AM - 4 PM:
Camarillo at 13468 Andalusia Drive, and Westlake Village at 2920 West Potrero Road. Children of all ages can come by and paint a horseshoe as a keepsake honoring Madison, benefiting the Madison Rose Fund. Donations are $2-$5. Unfortunately that's the day Madi will be discharged so she won't be able to attend.
