She still can't eat but there is some light at the end of the tunnel. On April 24 she'll have a minor procedure to correct one of the two anomalies. This may allow her to actually eat and drink orally, which may help correct the second issue.
So life continues... she is doing really well in school and is gradually becoming more involved with her church. The Winter Camp for blind kids (thread below) was extremely rewarding, some fun too! The fact that she couldn't eat... who notices? The fact that she consumed liquid food in the feeding tube in her tummy... none of the blind kids saw that either!
The next milestone is on May 20th; Madison will be 21!! We're looking forward to stuffing her full of sushi and her having her first legitimate cocktail...
