Roadtrip!

Today Madi and dad took a road trip to San Francisco and tomorrow we meet with the clinical trial team at UCSF. The plans are to squeeze in as much as we can before being sent home to reduce the number of trips up here. CAT scans and bloodwork and EKGs, oh my!

This evening we got acclimated to the area and took a brisk walk around the city. We happened upon a roach coach (lunch truck) that was selling spam sushi: What could go wrong?!

Hello all - while this is being written as a blod of sorts, we see and appreciate that people are following along.

Remember the game kick the can? Bill talks about all of his recurrences since 2004, wowza. Think of the game we played as kids, "kick the can". In this scenario, kick it a year or two closer to the goal of a cure via a clinical trial or a proven therapy. Bill closed the conference with a very inspirational video HERE.

The appointment to meet with the clinical trial physicians at UCSF has been pulled forward from January 26th to the 12th. Travel will be on Wednesday and staying through Friday evening. If they need Madi there (or back up there) the following week, may just stay through the weekend... depends upon costs to stay or travel.
